Prode fanciulla: la formazione d’un modello di donna polacca nel Rinascimento. Esempio della biblica Giuditta

2019

The proposed topie concerns mainly social pedagogy and has already been discussed in Polish studies. The article concentrates mainly on the role model of a courageous woman, and to emphasize the characteristic meaning of fight, both the spiritual as well as armed, which is - according to the author of the text — a strong trend of interpreting national history and a characteristic element for edu- cation. It has led to the formation of a positive image of a woman-Christian heroine commemorated in next centuries.

The role of sport-specific play and practice during childhood in the development of adolescent Finnish team sport athletes

2016

This study sought to understand the role of sport-specific play and practice in the development of adolescent team sport athletes in the Finnish sports development system. Participants were male, 15-year-old soccer (n ¼ 141), ice hockey (n ¼ 204), and basketball (n ¼ 96) players, divided into three groups based on the amount of sport-specific play and practice experienced during childhood. Data were collected with sport-specific inventories of practice history, tactical skills, psychological skills, and sport-specific skill test. Results showed that athletes with more sport-specific play and practice during childhood had more sport-specific play and practice during adolescence, better techn…

Los beneficios del mar: negocios e inversiones económicas de la oficialidad naval en el siglo XVIII

2019

Throughout the eighteenth century, the Spanish navy was extensively reformed and enhanced as a consequence of the new model of Monarchy that the Bourbons introduced. Among the measures adopted, it is remarkable the erection of the naval officers corps according to the needs and obligations that maritime war had in this century. This group becomes the paradigm of the new professionalization and new training approach, and its members had great relevance due to its great mobility around the empire and the power of the naval institution. This means that a part of the naval officers were placed in privileged positions and at the intersection of diverse political, social and economic networks. Th…

It can be concluded that the naval officers of the eighteenth century constituted a quite active economic group that looked for complementary forms of benefit beyond their salary as servants of the King and became essential nodes of the Atlantic economic framework of Spain. beneficios económicosand its members had great relevance due to its great mobility around the empire and the power of the naval institution. Opinion dynamics and stubbornness through mean-field games

2013

This paper provides a mean field game theoretic interpretation of opinion dynamics and stubbornness. The model describes a crowd-seeking homogeneous population of agents, under the influence of one stubborn agent. The game takes on the form of two partial differential equations, the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation and the Kolmogorov-Fokker-Planck equation for the individual optimal response and the population evolution, respectively. For the game of interest, we establish a mean field equilibrium where all agents reach epsilon-consensus in a neighborhood of the stubborn agent's opinion.

Scientific work and life of Edith Stein – psychological assumptions of empathy in the light of the problem of ecumenism

2020

Enhancing Optomechanical Coupling via the Josephson Effect

2013

Cavity optomechanics is showing promise for studying quantum mechanics in large systems. However, smallness of the radiation-pressure coupling is a serious hindrance. Here we show how the charge tuning of the Josephson inductance in a single-Cooper-pair transistor (SCPT) can be exploited to arrange a strong radiation pressure -type coupling $g_0$ between mechanical and microwave resonators. In a certain limit of parameters, such a coupling can also be seen as a qubit-mediated coupling of two resonators. We show that this scheme allows reaching extremely high $g_0$. Contrary to the recent proposals for exploiting the non-linearity of a large radiation pressure coupling, the main non-linearit…

INDUSTRY 4.0 AS SMART ENABLER FOR INNOVATIVE BUSINESS MODELS

2017

Master's thesis Business Administration BE501 - University of Agder 2017 Industry 4.0 is the upcoming 4th revolution within industrial setups across the world, mainly in manufacturing hubs. Industrial internet of Things (IIOT) will alter the dimensions of the way businesses used to be conducted and the way value was assessed and retrieved. IIOT tends to have a critical impact on the business models (BM) within various industrial sectors, either manufacturing or services. This study tries to observe IIOT related effects on the business models in regards to manufacturing industry from a Tech-based consultancy point of view. This study employs exploratory multiple case study approach to the to…

Doctrinal and Model Conditions of Family Support. International Recognition

2020

The article raises the issues of social activity aimed at supporting families. In particular, reference is made to the classic concepts of political models of the state organized according to the principles of liberalism, socialism and socliberalism as the middle ground between the first two. On the foundation of political assumptions, proposals are built of model family support arranged in three different circumstances of state governance. Three respective models of family support are outlined, which refer to the liberal, socialist and socliberal assumptions. Each of the models is discussed, i.e. the incentive, the caring, and the partnership model. The concept of family support models can…
